The kitchen supplies and eating utensils for after-school program were collected, delivered and unpacked. Asha and Sachina are happy with it. A well-deserved upgrade.
Afterwards we took a nice evening walk with a stopover at Gorkana Mevedev Temple. 🤩

A cheerful visit to the orphanage complete with singing, dancing, arm shaking and reading out aloud in our best Nepali. 😅 And of course we also had a look around the kitchen, which will soon receive a nice upgrade from 4 Smiling Faces.

More shopping done today; this time for kitchen supplies and eating utensils for the after-school program. The shopkeeper was very happy with us, again. We given him golden times; a very nice side effect of our work here.

Very nice meeting with my old friend Bharat Bc and his wife Geeta. I have known Bharat since my first year (2008) in Nepal when he was a pupil in the DRC, the home where it all started for 4 Smiling Faces. It is so great to see that he is building a beautiful life together with Geeta and is contributing to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities in Nepal through his work and hobby (wheelchair basketball). Go Bharat go 💪🏼
