What is the problem?

The after-school program SHCOP takes care of 26+ underprivileged children every day and provides them with, amongst other things, a nutritious meal. In Nepal, rice is one of the main parts of the menu and for so many hungry children it is quite a challenge to cook enough rice.

What is the solution?

The solution is to purchase a large rice cooker, with which all the necessary rice can be prepared in one go.

What is the result?

All the necessary rice can be cooked at once and is therefore ready for everyone at the same time. The rice cooker also saves a lot of time and space on the stove, which can be used for other parts of the meal.
