Playground

4SmilingFaces made the construction possible of the playground and planting a small vegetable garden at the grounds of the NWCSS orphanage. Before, the outdoor area was muddy (during the monsoon) and very dusty (during the dry season). But not anymore. Now there is grass to play on, walls to sit on, borders for planting.

Planting of the borders and the vegetable patch will be done in October when the dry season begins.

Thanks to other former volunteers there are other improvements too: For example, the balconies are now safe, carpet cover the rough concrete floors and outside area is enclosed by a stone wall.
