Drinking waterfilter

Clean drinking water is important for healthy living and therefore a basic right for everyone. In Kathmandu Nepal that’s a challenge since there are bacteria in the drinking water that makes all who drink it ill. At first, it will cause only minor health complaints, but in the long run, it can do more damage.

The NWCSS orphanage has a water filter machine to make the water drinkable. This machine was broken down and is in need of a new filter. That is why the children got ill.

4 Smiling Faces made it possible to repair the machine and renew the filter itself. We also agreed on a service contract, so also on the longer term the water will be clean and the children healthy.
