Mosquito screens & matrasses

In both the DRC Nepal and the NWCSS orphanage a number of mattresses are replaced after years of intensive use. For the DRC Nepal, there is a need for other (read better quality) mattresses than in the NWCSS orphanage since the children using them have physical disabilities, and can have problems controlling their bladder.

The bedrooms in both homes are also equipped with new, solid steel mosquito safety screens. Not only to keep mosquitoes at bay but also small wild animals that ward in the nearby countryside and regularly come to unsolicited visits. These include mountain lions, which can cause massive injuries in children.
