I came to the Lotus family home when I was 7 years old. I have two sisters and one brother. About five years ago, I had a sister who passed away due to a brain tumor. Our family’s condition was not good. My mother was severely addicted to alcohol and had lost the desire to live. My father lef tus alone.

Momma and Pappa (Binita and Iman) admitted her to a rehabilitation program for one year, but she showed no signs of recovery and eventually passed away. After that, I had no one to support
me, so Momma and Pappa brought me to this home where I now live.

After coming here, my life has completely changed. Momma and Pappa treat me like their own
daughter. They are truly kind people. Here, I have many brothers and sisters who love and
support me. They guide me in every situation and help me in my studies. From them, I have
learned many things. From the very first day, everyone treated me like their own sister.

Since 2018, we have been learning taekwondo. Our taekwondo journey has been very
enjoyable. Now, I am a black belt. Taekwondo has helped me learn new things, build my
confidence, and develop self-respect. It also keeps me physically and mentally fit.

When I was 7 or 8 years old, I wanted to be a teacher. As I grew older, I developed an interest in
traveling and visiting new places. So, I finally decided that I want to become an international airhostess. After I finish high school in two years I plan to study Hotelmanagement (H.M.) with a focus on Travel and Tourism.
