Binod

Binod is one of the children of the Lotus Family. He started the Bachelor’s program in Arts and Music in December 2024 with a major in English; after one year he switched to the Associated degree in Outdoor recreation, which he hopes to complete in 2028.
“I was pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an English major, but after studying for a year, I realized that the routine had become monotonous and limiting. I felt trapped within the four walls of a classroom and wanted an education that offered more practical experiences and opportunities for personal growth. I have always been someone who enjoys exploring, learning through experience, and connecting with people and places beyond the academic environment.
When I learned about courses that focus on outdoor education, I was genuinely excited. Nepal has tremendous potential in the tourism and adventure sector, making this field both meaningful and promising. By studying this course, I can gain the knowledge and skills required not only to work as a guide but also to become a capable trip leader. More importantly, this path offers the sense of freedom, adventure, and purpose that I have been searching for in my education and career.”
