I grew up in the Kapan neighborhood of Kathmandu with my family. I have two older sisters and a younger sister. My father worked as a painter and my mother was a teacher. My sisters and I went to school together, to the Kailash Bodhi School.

However, my childhood was not easy. My father often drank alcohol and regularly argued with my mother. It was very painful for us to experience such incidents at a young age. Eventually, my father left our family for another woman.

After that, my mother worked very hard to support us. Despite all the difficulties, she managed to pay our school fees and did her best to help us realize our dreams. But after a few years, things became more difficult. My mother also started drinking and had to stop working. There were periods when we didn’t have enough to eat.

Although my life has always been hard and I have spent most of my time on the streets, I somehow found the courage to talk to Imam Lama (the father of the Lotus family). We talked. At first, I hesitated to talk to him.” to go along, but the second time I visited the Lotus family, my life changed. Slowly but surely, I got used to the new environment. The people in the home were kind and helpful, and I started to feel happy again. I went to a new school and continued my education. Who would have thought that the place I initially mistook for a children’s home would become my second home? Perhaps at first I thought it was a children’s home, but it is exactly the opposite. It is a home, a home where a large family full of love lives together.

Now I am about to finish high school. I am proud of how far I have come. After high school, I want to go to university to study Business Administration. In the future, I want to become a successful businessman. Not just a successful businessman, but also a good person. In addition to my career as a businessman, I also want to dedicate myself to social work. I want to help people like me when I am successful.
