And also the two main religions in the country: Hinduism and Buddhism.
Red is the colour of the national flower, the rhododendron.
And also stands for victory in war and the courage of the Nepalese people.
The blue colour stands for peace.
The sun and the moon symbolise aggression of the fighters and the tranquility and peacefulness of the people.
